Several of the major US Property and casualty (P&C) Insurance companies recently released their Q2 results, which showed major trends emerging.
Following on from 2025 full year results we look at the H1 results of P&C companies, both small and large to ascertain themes through the market such as major insurer Allstate nearly doubling its net income in the span of a year, rising from $2.6 billion in the first half of 2025 to $5.7 billion in the first half of 2026: a year-on-year (YoY) growth rate of over 119%.
Insurance Investor organised insurers into three categories, excluding outliers, to look at overall net income, net investment income and net investment income YOY growth from H1 2025 to H1 2026.
