Some of the world’s largest economies have announced interest rate decisions over the course of this week, with many reacting to events in the Middle East and subsequent concerns over rising inflation as part of the fallout.
On Wednesday, the US Federal Reserve said that it would not be moving interest rates from its current 3.25 – 3.75% target range.
