Investors are sceptical about insurers’ prospects for future growth but remain bullish on life insurers, especially in emerging markets.
This is according to Bain & Company’s new report, “Bridging the Protection Gap: Affordability, Access, and Risk Prevention”. The report outlines how protection gaps are widening across all major lines of insurance, including property and casualty (P&C), life, and cyber, as insurers face “increasing difficulty pricing risk in a more volatile and complex world”.
