Andrew Putwain: Can you give us an overview of some of the big themes and trends that you've seen in portfolio construction and portfolio management over the past few years?
Liz Gorgoglione: One of the big themes in our industry and business is ALM and finding that “perfect balance”. It has been more difficult to find long-duration assets that also provide the yield that we need for our business.
Insurers need to be creative in terms of sourcing new asset classes to back liabilities. And even then, we may still find ourselves chasing the yield we need.
